Nearly everyone outside Acton and Georgetown is on a well and septic, so we set up water care for hard water and plan the drain so a tub change does not overload the septic bed. Winters up here are colder and snowier than Burlington's, with drifting on open fields, so a tight cover and a cover lifter are not optional. Acton itself has older in-town lots with narrow side yards, closer to the Aldershot pattern than the farm one. Halton Hills has its own accessory building and setback rules; ask the town.
