Oakville is our largest market outside Burlington itself, from the lakeshore estates of Old Oakville and Morrison to the new streets north of Dundas where the lots are narrow and the basements are unfinished.
South of the QEW the housing is mature: deep lots in Old Oakville, Morrison, Bronte and Glen Abbey with pools that are reaching the end of their lives and trees that have grown over the side yard. This is where most of our swim spas and seven seat Jacuzzi tubs go, usually by crane over the garage. North of Dundas, in Joshua Creek, River Oaks and the newest phases along Trafalgar, the yards are tight and the gates are narrow, so the J-335, J-355 and Nordic Retreat SE are the tubs that fit, and Clearlight Sanctuary cabins go into basements that were roughed in for a gym. Staff from Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Sheridan College are regulars for infrared saunas. Oakville is on municipal water, so water care is straightforward, and the town has its own rules on hot tub enclosures, so check with them before you set the pad.
